Chimney Sweeping
Did you know NFPA211 (National Fire Protection Agency), requires an annual inspection by a licenced professional on all chimneys and heating systems. (Most homeowner's fire insurance policies require you to follow the above code requirement.) Our WETT certified chimney technicians perform professional chimney services. This includes cleaning the flue, flue connector, and the wood burning appliance. This process ensures that all visible areas are in good repair.

Consultations
Do you have an existing system that is giving you trouble? Or are you planning a renovation and are not sure of what you want for a heating system? We have a WETT certified system advisor on staff. He can come to your home, evaluate your existing system for design flaws and problematic issues or help you design your new heating system by providing multiple choices.

Inspections
WETT certified technicians perform different levels of inspection, depending on their training and qualifications. Not all WETT certified people are certified to perform level 2 and 3 inspections and most WETT technicians are not masons. Guardian Inspection Services has two inspectors / masons qualified in all areas of chimney and wood heat inspections. See details on WETT inspection levels on our WETT page.

Come in and visit our knowledgeable staff and view our selection of inserts, fireplaces and stoves. We also carry many fireplace accessories, raincaps, flue pipes, door gaskets, replacement blowers, stove paint, firebricks and much, much more. If we don't have it in stock, we will find it for you! Guardian Services is conveniently located at 231 B Dogwood Street, Campbell River, (right beside Steiner's Bakery) .

Installations
Whether you are installing a new heating system or renovating an older one, we can perform all the aspects of the installation. We install gas, wood and pellet stoves and fireplaces, with code compliant chimney solutions, including masonry. We have in-house contractors for custom finishes, including hearths, mantles and surrounds. We can be your one-stop solution or we will work with your existing trades to make your heating system exactly what you want it to be.

Custom Masonry Work
We also do custom brickwork, tile and cultured stone for fireplaces or chimneys. Need repairs? We can inspect and re-line masonry chimneys, install custom raincaps and flashings, re-point brickwork and apply damp-proofing.
